campusM holds another successful User Group Meeting
Yesterday we held our 11th User Group Meeting. The event was well attended by our customers, and as always was a great opportunity to meet with them, share best practice and keep them up to date with developments on the campusM Platform.
We had some really interesting presentations, including from David Guest of University of Sussex who talked about how they have used the campusM App Extension Kit to develop an email client for their app, and which is now the app’s most popular feature.
Christian Butterworth and Alice Ashcroft from Lancaster University demonstrated how they have made their pocket guide information more dynamic and interactive, and how this has seen an increase in usage of this section of the app.
We also had a talk from Barry Stevenson from DisabledGo, who provide accessibility information for institutions, and Danielle Ladley from King’s College London demonstrated how we are integrating this data with the campusM Platform to give access details based on position data or via a search option.
Ben Richards from University of Exeter talked to the group about Benchmarking before being voted in as our new User Group Chair. Ben takes over from Mark Britchford of University of Leeds in this important role of representing customer needs.
We’d like to pass on our thanks to everyone who attended and in particular to our presenters, outgoing and incoming chairs, and KCL who hosted the event.

Leading business school HEC Paris chooses campusM
HEC Paris has chosen campusM as the best Platform to deliver its student services. The top business school in mainland Europe, as ranked by the Financial Times in 2014, HEC Paris identified campusM as an established product with an impressive client base in the UK.
We first met staff from HEC Paris at a user group of UNIT4’s Agresso student records system, where they invited us to demonstrate the campusM Platform to them. They saw that integrating Agresso with campusM would give their students an app for course information, timetables, and grades.
HEC Paris will also go live with library integration, maps, news events, transport information, and a pocket guide for students. Future plans include integrations with their learning management system and jobs board.
It’s great to welcome them into our ever-expanding campusM community.
